Bite Back and FamousGrey fight together against zoochosis

Zoochosis is a mental illness among captive animals, manifesting itself in bizarre repetitive behaviour. FamousGrey and Bite Back disguised this movement into boomerangs in Instagram Stories to raise awareness about the suffering of animals in Belgian zoos.

The Instagram stories appeared as ads in a certain geographical area around several Belgian zoos. In this way, visitors were confronted on the spot with the suffering that the animals are enduring. The Instagram story was followed by a call to action that prompted people to take action against the suffering of animals in captivity.
